Can’t physically come to a sit? Join us virtually on the Insight Timer!

Recently, we have started two groups on the Insight Timer. One for our Honolulu Sunday Sits and one for our North Kohala Sunday Sits. If you can’t make the Sunday Sittings but want to join us, do so on the Insight Timer. The Sunday sits in North Kohala are 4:00 – 4:45 pm and in Honolulu are 5:00 – 5:45 pm Hawai’i time.

If you are not familiar with the Insight Timer, check it out (or download) here:

https://insighttimer.com

It’s an app on your phone that allows you to time your sits, see others meditating at the same time, allows you to communicate with others of like mind, and allows to to join different groups like Vipassana Hawai’i, Satipatthana: the Direct Path, or even Rumi poems.

Find us! See you on the Insight Timer.

Forgiveness and Reconciliation

With Sayadaw U Thuzana

January 22 – 30, 2016

The Buddha succeeded in establishing a community that has been a genuine force for peace and harmony, not only because of the high value he placed on these qualities but also because of the precise instructions he gave on how to achieve them through forgiveness and reconciliation. Central to these instructions is his insight that forgiveness is one thing reconciliation is something else. Sayadaw U Thuzana will teach the difference between the two as we practice forgiveness and learn how to reconcile in this seven-day mindfulness meditation retreat that is suitable to anyone who is interested in or has already been practicing Buddhist meditation.
