Instructions for Online Payments
Here are the instructions for using PayPal to pay registration fees or contribute to Vipassana Hawai'i.
If you have never used PayPal you must setup an account first. Go to www.paypal.com.
Look for the icons to “Sign Up” –

You are able to send money directly from your bank account or with a credit card using this system.
If you have an account already log in to your PayPal account and click on the “Send Money tab” and follow the instructions, they are very clear.

Designating a Recipient – insert the following email address: accounting@vipassanahawaii.orgCurrency – select “U.S. dollars” from the drop down box.
Category of Purchase – select Service or other
Email Subject: PLEASE WRITE, for example, “Lake Retreat 2007/8 Registration Fee”
**This information is important so that the money is transferred into the correct bank acct. for registration.
Note: Please write a note to Steve (recipient - who will be depositing the money) and include the following information: your name, address, phone number, email address and the amount deposited.
Later for the purposes of Dana, if you deposit more than $ 250 US, then a receipt will be mailed to you for U.S. tax-purposes. For amounts under $250, IRS allows the donor to use credit card statement as a receipt.
Contributions are tax deductible since Vipassana Hawai'i is a 501(c)3 charitable organization .
