A non-residential weekend Mindfulness/Vipassana retreat with Grahame White.

Dates: Saturday July 26th and Sunday July 27th 2008.
Time: 8:30AM-4PM
Place: Palolo Zen Center near the end of Waimao Road.

(Please do not block the wheelchair ramp to Roshi's private residence when parking)
Cost: $50 for both days or $30 per day.

Bring your own lunch on Saturday. On Sunday, a Vipassana Hawaii member will provide lunch as a Dana contribution (Please let us know if you plan to have lunch on Sunday by signing up below or calling 737-5169). Registration at 8:30AM on site.

Beginners are welcome.

Grahame White is a popular teacher from Australia who is concerned with transmitting the practice of mindfulness to others. Spend two days learning/practicing the art of mindful living with instruction, periods of sitting and walking meditation and discussion/sharing. There will be time for questions on both days. It is possible to attend one day of this week-end retreat, but hopefully students can arrange to spend two peaceful days in the Palolo Valley.

Vipassana retreats include actual expenses per person but do not include Dana for the teachers. Donations are welcome. Grahame will be leading the 5PM sittings on Sundays July 20th and 27th at 4727 Aukai Avenue, Honolulu . There will be a vegetarian potluck following the sitting on Sunday July 27th. The sittings and potluck are free and everyone is welcome.
