Vipassana Hawai'i Mission Statement

Vipassana Hawai'i is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, with strong ties to its parent organizations in Southeast Asia, and was founded 25 years ago to promote the teaching of Buddhist meditation to new generations of students in Hawai'i. Since that time it has grown to provide wisdom and compassion guidance to communities of western students around the world, as well as giving back to our transmission lineage holders by improving the lives of local and ex-patriot Burmese communities in need through human and physical resource allocation.
